DRAFT
All schematic sheets are being actively drawn. ERC has not been run and errors are expected. Milestone complete when all sheets are drawn and the KiBot DRAFT variant runs cleanly.
Physical build and verification. Board assembled in stages, each block verified before applying any voltage. Bugs documented and fed back into schematic. Milestone complete when all functional tests pass and the clock runs correctly.
PRELIMINARY
All schematic sheets complete with footprints assigned. Initial PCB placement done. ERC and DRC not yet formally run. Milestone complete when placement is finished and the KiBot PRELIMINARY variant runs cleanly.
RELEASED
Ready for fabrication. All KiBot outputs reviewed, CHANGELOG updated, dev merged to main, and version tag pushed. Milestone complete when the tagged release exists on Gitea with all manufacturing outputs attached.
All design decisions, component selections, and CI/CD infrastructure must be completed before schematic work begins. No schematic sheets should be started until all blocking research tasks are closed.
